The Farm

Stone Bridge Farm is 138 acres of forest, fields, hills, and rivers. The farm is quite literally an in-between place, with land in two townships — Stillwater and Frelinghuysen — and two counties — Sussex and Warren — situated in northwestern New Jersey. The recorded and oral histories that we have collected to date tell us that for more than two centuries — and probably longer — families have worked this land for dairy and crop farming, vegetable and flower gardening, timber harvesting, hunting, fishing, and the nurture of souls. It has been a place of hospitality, beauty, abundance, and grace.

For centuries, this farm has served others with wood, food and flora, been home to multiple generations living and dying together, housed family and guests from near and far, and been connected with prayer and generosity to local churches and organizations to preserve and expand the common good.
